Tiramisu is an elegant and rich layered Italian dessert made with delicate ladyfinger cookies, espresso or instant espresso, mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, Marsala wine, rum and cocoa powder.
Roberto Linguanotto, a Venetian pastry chef who is often credited with the invention of tiramisu back in the 1960s, says that his creation is expensive because of the espresso used in another essential component to the dessert: espresso-soaked ladyfingers (via The Straits Times).
Tiramisu doesn't traditionally have alcohol, it's just made with espresso/coffee. Some versions, especially at nicer restaurants, do have Kahlua, marsala or other booze (e.g. amaretto, brandy, rum), and it depends how much but usually it's fine, but you may check with where you're ordering from.
If you enjoy a boozy treat once in a while, you can use any kind of liqueur that complements coffee well! I've seen tiramisu made with coffee liqueur, brandy, rum, Irish cream, hazelnut liqueur, and the list goes on. Coffee liqueur (aka Kahlua) is my favorite choice, but you can use anything you like!
The vodka will add nothing to the tiramisu recipe since vodka is made to be flavorless. As Jefromi mentioned in the comment, there are plenty of other better substitution in terms of flavor you can use. Kahlua is a very common liquor found in tiramisu as it's coffee based. Chocolate porters might also add a nice touch.
One slice of this Italian classic can rack up over 600 calories and 46 grams fat -- one and a half times the recommended daily amount of fat. The high-fat culprits in this dish? Lots of whipping cream, boatloads of mascarpone cheese and the cake-like ladyfingers cookies.
Does tiramisu contain alcohol? Traditionally, yes. The ladyfingers which form the base of the cake are usually brushed with or soaked in a mixture of coffee and a liquor such as amaretto, cognac, or rum. It's not a lot of alcohol, perhaps a tablespoon or two, but it is usually there.
With a base of Marsala wine and crafted with decadent, high-quality ingredients, Tiramisú Italian liqueur is every bit as indulgent as its namesake. A dark, amber color with golden highlights, hints of vanilla, mocha, cocoa bean and toasted hazelnut.
Bottega Tiramisu Cream Liqueur is characterised by a harmonious balance of Savoiardo biscuits, coffee and cocoa with hints of cream and mascarpone. Soft and velvety on the palate the notes of coffee and biscuit are enhanced, combined with the enveloping flavour of mascarpone and a finish with notes of cocoa.
