Little Chefs - Big Problems (Trouble with kids in the Kitchen) Plus Picky Eater Recipes (1)

I don’t know about you, but I spend a lot of time making a meal only to learn that the kids hate it before they’ve tried it. Getting them to try it is like pulling teeth! It’s a battle some nights, that’s for sure! On a lot of occasions I end up making frozen chicken nuggets and frozen fries for these picky eaters.

I have gathered An Amazing list of recipes that your Kids will Love (even the picky ones) and included them here. But first I need to vent a little about a problem!

We all have those little chefs in our life that Love- Love - Love too cook with us. Me I have 5 nieces ages 5-10 that are in the kitchen every time I am.

They are always asking to pour this, stir that, crack the eggs, lick the bowl etc...I really think I hear my name more when I am cooking than any other time of the day.

But THE PROBLEM I have found with my little helpers in the kitchen - seems to be, that my cooking equipment is to big for there little hands. Probablybecause it is made for adults. Now the too big, to bulky, hard for little hands to use equipment causes unnecessary messes, clean up, and makes it hard for the little ones to really enjoy cooking.

I was looking for the perfect gift for a birthday we just had and I came across the BEST items.

Not only were they fun gift items but these kits solved my kitchen problems also-

That was my main reason for this post. I feel likeI HAVE FOUND THESOLUTION to a Major Problem and I had to share!

I truthfully feel these are a must have for any kid that likes to cook (And adult for less spills and mess)!

When you start talking about store-bought educational toys what seems to come up the most is the price. I have found some wonderful Educational Toys for my children cheap. I have even created some myself. We are big DIY fans in this house! I try to take the time to craft and create with the whole family at least once a Week.
